For Adrian Palach & Radek Wojnar, the two that form the
progressive house duo North Sunset, their long-term goals are
ardently simple: (1) "…to play live…" and (2) "Earn a big base
of fans and finally have our own professional studio." Coming
from Wejherowo, a town in Gdansk Pomerania with almost
50,000 inhabitants, the opportunity to be heard as an artist is
limiting, when the music is not recognized as mainstream.
However, a combination of networking and self-promoting on
the Internet brought these small-town producers to the attention
of several EDM labels. The duo have built up a noteworthy
discography of original tunes from Portrait Digital, Yellow
Avenue Recordings, Terminal music and Tiefhaus Records,
with more to come from Elliptical Sun Melodies. Armed with the propensity for
being melodically uplifting, clean and catchy, their overall
aesthetic can be best described by paraphrasing this Paul
McCartney lyric: "...the love [they] take is equal to the love [they]
make."
